Building Progress

The Eagles Nest Baptist Church's new building design reached a major milestone in November when preliminary plans were approved by the building committee. Below you'll see an artist representation of the new building.

Dear Friends,

I am so thrilled that our building has a face and the construction documents are well underway. George Kryzer (a builder in our church) is working on the actual cost of the project using volunteers in missions to do the labor. I will post a follow up next week to update all of you with more details. Several of you have already committed to bring a group up to help us with the building aspect. Our hope is to commence with the spring thaw, which begins sometime in May. The total square footage is now at 7,800.

I also want to thank all of you for your continued prayer support and financial help. My heart was thrilled this week when Robert Winter from Tifton Georgia told me this story. He said "our teens are giving up drinking one soda pop every week. They are already donating their soda money for the building project". He went on to say that "their goal is to pay for the youth classroom". I want to thank all of you for your sacrifices and the great ideas like this. Please let me know about your stories. I want to be able to share them with our church.

Yours in Christ,

Mark Patton
